GEORGE WASHINGTON
The fields are quiet
but not for long
A whisper grows into a song
The drums of hope they start to beat
A rebel’s march with steady feet
ALL
No crown above us
no chains to bind
A fire lit inside our minds
No kings no thrones no golden cage
The dawn has turned another page
We rise
we fight
we claim our name
In liberty we burn the flame
PENELOPE BARKER
They laugh in their towers with ink-stained hands
But their jests fall weak on our steadfast stand
Mockery's a weapon
Dull and old
We'll wield our truth
Sharper than gold
Let them scoff
Let them sneer
Their fear speaks loud
It's all I hear
Be strong Be bold
Let the fire unfold
We’ll not be silenced
We’ll not be sold
Raise your voice
Let the anthem fly
Together we stand
Together we rise
Here is the track and the lyrics for the female child role:
Her name whispered through the trees
A rebel's soul carried by the breeze
She said no more and the women rose
Their strength in unity the world now knows
What can a girl with courage do?
Rewrite the rules and make them new
Penny B stood tall she took her stand
No tea no tax she made her demand
With a quill and a heart she led the way
And we're still feeling her spark today!
